  1. A few weeks ago I attended the Flatlands300 gravel race / event in the Netherlands. Flatlands 300 is a gravel ultra with a fixed route that takes you through the impressive green nature of the Netherlands. We start shortly after sunrise and finish just before sunset. The route leads through the deepest forests and the wildest heathlands. It included a night on a camping space with a get together the day before, some music, food and drinks.

I had a camera with me and collected some moments of the day and the route and hope you enjoy the small video.

  2. Took part in the event last year and I can really say it’s absolutely worth it! Organizers are great, food was good and the route beautiful. 10/10

    300 km in a day? That’s a lot, (slightly) more then I’ve ever done,…on paved roads…

17 hrs or riding 300km, you must average at least 18km/h. Sounds reasonable when you do not stop to eat…

Can you share some thoughts on a training schedule?
