Did a beautiful 30 mile ride today and my SRAM battery died with 5 miles to go. Not the worst but also not a fan of climbing in a single speed. This is my first and only electronic shifting so I totally forgot about charging the battery after 2 months 😅

Beautiful bike.
Lol! Just lol. Charge your bike batteries! 🤣😂🥴😭🤣🤣🤪🤢🤮
Edit: 🤮🤮🤮🤮🙀🤰
they should really be putting those lil calculator solar panels on there :p
Since you have SRAM, look at buying a spare battery that you can keep “just in case.” One of the nice benefits of SRAM’s setup vs Shimano.
Buy a second. Not too expensive and nice to have a back up. For those of us that forget to charge stuff.
Nice bike. I want to order a pink one too 😉
Or… hear me out… stick with mechanical. Your bike will be apocalypse proof. Electonic derailleurs tried to solve a problem that didn’t exist.
I’ve got in the habit of clicking my shifter before every ride to see what colour the light on the derailleur is – as soon as it’s not green I throw the battery on to charge and switch in a spare.
I assumed the battery you referred to is what lights up that hot frame!
Putting electronics into bikes is a net negative. But here we are 🙁
