I have had my Canyon Grizl SL 7 for about 6 months. After about 100 miles I noticed some really bad creaking. Turns out the seat post was cracking. I worked with canyon warranty to resolve the situation. Unfortunately I had to send the bike back just to get a new seat post. Now after about another 100 miles or so the new seat post cracked. I am definitely torquing things down to spec. If I wasn’t I don’t think the cracking would be this gradual or look like this. Has anyone else had similar issues? Maybe it’s the frame? Maybe it’s the split seat post design?

No problems on mine, I’ve had it for about 2 years and about 2k km from gravel to single track.
