Join me for the finale of the Craigypistyll Gorge Ride, most of the video features the Hafod Estate.

just summited the arch just under 15 minutes up from Devil’s Bridge that’s for 2 miles there’s a car parked on the side of the road down there police car overtook me drove past the car and now I’ve seen it since seeing it go back and pull up and have a look at what’s going on we’re going to drop straight down into the half hard estate and take the cycle Lane back and keep an eye out for all the Silly Season traffic go traffic free on the way back it’s gorgeous day [Music] never AAR of that view down into the esth valley lovely this is my favorite stop in the hod estate we’re about to ride down my favorite oh Road in the half of the state once I’ve adjusted myself beautiful view every time view that is nice and green now until September it look exactly the same as that when I was last here it was the back end of April and not quite is it the back end of April well whichever day it was I’ll find out and it wasn’t quite fully in leaf but these are these are nice flowers here we’ll just have a look very nice pattern on the there I think that’s a road to dendon and they’re all different colors as well you can get them there’s some white ones on the uni campus and red ones as well but this is the most common color this sort of purple pink whatever it is and you see there’s tons of it all over there if this was moan grass it would be pretty much exactly the same as someplace in Austria that was a good time living there I could make some videos from that period of my life heading back into the forest now these are always fun in the wet these gravel gravel off-road cattle GDs and the joy of this is It’s traffic free which is especially welcome in Silly Season although the roads aren’t that bad it’s the main trunk roads I noticed uh the a44 and the a487 both absolutely rammed of traffic hello hi yeah nice to see some touring cyclist so I don’t think i’ film this bit where it comes out it comes out where there’s a house and the land owner tried to block off the path and it went all through the procedure and it was unblocked he CH he put a big fence up the one end and chained this gate up the other end so we’ll get down here and see what it’s like they have also resurfaced this further down it’s bumpy but less boggy roaded dendrons are still out there’s a lot of them it wasn’t this gate this has always been [Music] here there other cattle grids way past its best this is the the new bit of the [Applause] gravel I remember riding to AIS withth 1 February it was the like the day after a big day or two days big storm had passed through I think it was the 10th of February Monday and I was all loaded up with the four piers on and I was riding along here and the bicycle was just sinking all the way down to the bottom of the rack which is about 8 or 9 in is it roughly and so this is a big Improvement you can hear the road it’s that very steep downhill that you can go very very fast on like nearly 50 faster than the traffic so bet that land owner that chap in that houses please cuz you you can’t block off the cycle path and it’s been improved so even more people will come through bit damp here there’s the fence look [Applause] wel so anyway that’s uh back on the main road now 6% remaining on the battery pleased it’s lasted this long but this will be the last the last one where the hell is he going bit strange I was nothing coming say Silly Season obviously applies to the cars as well as the motorcycles never heard of Silly Season until recently it’s the refer to when the sun comes out and the racing bikes come out and uh head off into all the twisty country which is what this is and then they all crash cuz I can’t handle the speed and power I still haven’t moved I’ve just saying that’s on 100% and 27 miles and it was on about 15 when I charged it up so 10 Mi ridden to get get to full charge which is pretty good I’m not sure how that is in hours I think I think it was about two put in new new traffic cones not cones uh uh poles Telegraph poles we got there eventually just uh overtook two guys heading on Route 81 to ARA I down to film they might catch me up but now this road is open I’ve just been overtaken by three cars which is considerably High number compared to what it used to be you can tell by the way some people drive that they’re not used to the road I don’t think these guys were but this is a gorgeous gorgeous Road oh FY though BMX jumps there I have to get a cat thingy for this camera I remember watching a YouTube video the other week with Dad and the guy said I’ve got these cats cat dead cats I put on the camera I’ll put the link in the description and never did so I am now still without genuinely appropriate knowledge of which wants to buy we’ll figure out we’ll have to cuz it’ll improve the video quality a hell of a lot [Music] early summer afternoon say that it’ll be June next week oh he’s coming into the field wonder he’s going to mow it just before I film all [Music] the all the flowers yeah it looks like it anyway we’ll press on to Abus withth 10 miles off road lovely this is much improved they’ve rolled this got rid of some of the tumps some lumps and it’s bone dry as well easy 14 mph no effort very [Music] good I’m back at the place where the bank has fallen only somebody’s pinched all the barriers now so and the gates were open the railway sleep is still there it’ll be down there forever until the next storm I’m going to shut this gate because there’ll be people coming along who won’t know this is here [Applause] this being holiday season that’s quite dangerous who pinched all the pinched all the fencing though that was stupid but it’s it’s coming along slowly the repair I’m glad they are going to put the effort in nice uh commitment to the not just the highway but the the other bits as well I’ll close this one and so yeah it’s a gorgeous evening 25 to 5 Lovely light Breezy warm I get a good tan maybe a bit of burn and the bike looks well camouflage there it’s a good adventure bike it’s the right color lovely site the Buttercup field I’ll film it before it all [Music] goes 40 m on the clock in 6 and 1/2 hours we’ll head back around pending us onto the prom and that’ll be it there been a cracking Run 10 to 5 of the all uh afternoon Summer live we’ve made it back into town without incident you can certainly tell US Bank there though hopefully it’ll rain tomorrow like the forecast said I’m pleased to have got out on a nice day 43 mil one I could though after riding up that Gorge while pushing that was a good ride that was no events really coming back into town there’s people on the trail to watch out for and in town is traffic and tourists and whatnot it was lovely ride going to be a lovely evening as well I think so I’ll say thank you very much for watching and until next time cheerio [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]
