Spent weeks checking out Facebook Marketplace a few times a day, thought about buying an ELOPS from Decathlon, thought about buying a Tsunami from AliExpress but ended up with this thing.
Super surprised that it actually got to me in Australia. It came from Brotures in Yokohama Japan in a cardboard box with no frills packaging. It’s a Los Angeles in size small and came with a Columbus headset.
If I bought a beater or AliExpress special I know I’d end up tearing it down and rebuilding it. It’s just something I’ve always done. IE: Buy mediocre “that’ll do” bikes and turn them into something special (to me) over time, but I’m old and retired now (ex-graphic designer), and for the first time in my life I’ve got a bit of dosh to play with, so I’m going to have fun with this one!

Enjoy it mate, you’ve earnt it. I too did the same as you…. Built up a Cinelli Mash but got over it… built up a Skream Magnum but got over it… built up a Bombtrack Script but got over it. Finally bought a Dosnoventa LA and I don’t think I’ll ever buy another bike. Still in the process of building it to a level I’m happy with but it’s winter in Australia so I’m not rushing as I’m not riding much.
My mates Dosnoventa Detroit also came from Brotures and the packaging was battered, we thought the frame would be fucked but it was all good.
