1990(91?) Miyata 1000 LT
This popped up on my local market. It’s listed at $750 usd. Condition seems good. Listed as “needs tune up and adjustment.” I do my own wrenching.
I’m interested in it as a light touring, commuting, and just long slow chill rides. I’ve got plenty of other bikes (fast road, fast vintage road, fixie, 90s hardtail in commuterish mode). I’ll probably leave the 1000 mostly as is aside from consumables and swapping for compact drops, but may one day modernize the groupset.
I feel like it’s a little expensive. What’s the offer? I’m in pricey market (NorCal)
