Had a great overnighter on Exmoor, UK last week. Explored ruins, caves, and went wild-swimming up in the hills.
Learnt my lesson to bring insect repellant, was getting swarmed by gnats and the occasional horsefly, had over 70 bites just on one leg!
Bought some eggs I found at an honestly box, and made omelettes for dinner and breakfast!
Came across deer, ponies, sheep and cows along the way.
A blanket of fog swept in before sunset, I was hoping to get a good view of the stars, as Exmoor is known for being a dark sky reserve.
