I’m old (49), unfit AF and just getting back on the bike again after a long hiatus. It’s not taken me too long to start pining for a fixie again (not owned one since 2009), but holy shit where’s the scene gone?
Thought I’d share some photos from Sydney 2009, a time where it felt like there was a cycling revolution. They were practically giving away fixies, there were fixie shops in the city, MASH SF screenings at the cinema and Alleycat races. Good times!
