  1. I'm always amazed when my friends, most falling between age 19 to 27, say they hate driving or getting the bus to work yet they do it every single day.

My commute of 6 miles takes me about 20 minutes by bike, by car it takes about 18, by bus 26.

  2. Yet CTC continues to be an impediment to proper Dutch style infrastructure that actually enables people to cycle, rather than simply 'encouraging'. Face it, most people don't want to cycle in traffic or badly designed cycle paths, and until something is done about that nothing will change. CTC, stick to supporting vehicular cycling and stop trying to encourage people to cycle.
