So I used some plumbing pliers to get this BSA bottom bracket out of an old steel frame, worked on one side but on the other I just slipped and slipped and kind of messed it up 😳 Turned into the direction of pedaling. There‘s a tiny amount of plastic left for a proper tool to latch onto, should I go in that direction? What tool would I need? Thanks!!

I’m amazed how lucky you are
since one cup is out you can hammer the axle and bearings out to that side. then put a sawblade through the hole where the axle was and carefully saw through the plastic cup until you hit the threads of the frame. you probably have to do that twice until the pressure of the cup is relieved enough to pry the cup out.
afterwards you’d ideally chase the threads
