Recorded at Ornithological Park of Pont de Gau in southern France (can reach by bus, car, or bicycle from Arles, FR). Got s closer look later through binoculars with the Pixel 3a camera zoomed in 7x and binoculars maxed out. The sides are an iridescent rainbow, so this was a glossy ibis.
