  1. It’s not a good first bike. That is a 15 year old downhill bike. A lot of stuff is outdated on there that won’t make this worth it as your first bike.

You’re better off getting a new/recent hardtail. It will be easier to pedal uphill, roll over technical features without going over the bars, 1x drivetrain will shift better

Depends on what you’re gonna do with it. Gonna be a pig to pedal. Cheap lift bike maybe 550-600 🤷‍♀️

This thing would be a snail, outdated in geometry and almost every aspects. I wouldnt even bother offering and just pass. 750 bucks there are better bikes out there

Unless you have a specific need I’d generally avoid things much over 5 years. I currently run a 2016 rig and within a couple of years there was quite a geo change and wheel size for most styles of bikes.

That’s more or less stabilised since then so I’d be looking for newer than 2018/2019 in my budget.

Get something like Trek Roscoe, Rose Bonero, Canyon Stoic etc, (they have models under 1000€ so its a great option as a first bike) this is too old and you’re gonna hate it when pedaling
