hi everyone today we’re at crew Alexander football club for the Northwest Rail and transport collectors Fair Pauline is going to find some bargins how’s it somebody’s birthday enjoy the [Music] video Jim yeah I was looking at these we got a blue one and a and a mail coach one of these old lur ones the ho funny aren’t they yeah got no windows 250 can’t reti on that one we pick one of them up didn’t we’s got some else on it that’s 450 it’s an air fix 550 these are air fix as well is that LMA that’s LMA sorry that one 450 there’s the Loco it came with it 19 quid look at this delt that’s a very light blue isn’t it it is very pale and I think it’s pal than it looks actually on on camera cuz that looks quite dark on the camera but it’s that’s unusual some Livery variation I don’t get that I can only think maybe it’s a very very early one the space they would OCC it’s not been repainted wouldn’t repainted in that color un usual Not Unusual for us to look at a blue diesel but there you go all right what’s in this box okay you want look at the Box yeah how fly SC see that’s nice isn’t it these ones um not in that color we’ve got a few see that’s a red one I’ve not seen them I don’t know no we’ve got yellow ones got signage on it hasn’t it yeah they might have been replaced that signage might be redone might yeah cuz it were originally just a sticker and that look like it’s been reone it’s a lot better than it would have it’s very good actually they might just be the whole new signs it’s quite heavy as well as yours yeah the metal all right okay oh look at this oh how cute I like that sorry price out price ticket temporarily that’s find some steam oh steam a down there oh what’s he got what’s he got for us oh some more camper that’s that is good wow you prefer that one don’t you yeah absolutely it’s good that even though it’s Castle Donnington Power Station wow yeah I’ve not seen one of those just is that being St around the back as well that’s the Caledonian one go red coaches that is a good one though I do like that it’s a [Music] pug he’s put to one side for us you got Desmond a quite a little man in it yeah a few of them have good for these cuz they got the open caps yeah I like that Harry Harry H do we know who to call Harry I think we might do just need to have Uncle it’s done could be arranged all these Caravans no we got one we got blue one didn’t we we got one of those yes they did yeah some more diesels par delery that’s nice oh it is isn’t it it’s quite a pale yeah don’t C own surprise oh a little bit packaging very hello hello track side o I’ve not seen that one there before um no I don’t think I have actually speed is an old tin plate signal box it’s very nice it is isn’t it oh wow the selection of wagons so we’ve got a couple of um Mainline ones in that Livery that’s a Pico kit one we got the let’s look at every store before everybody’s here so this is old Tim taes isn’t it and books a darker shade of orange I like that that’s interesting that yeah used to see those didn’t they you got this one close to home there’s more here many more name plates lots of books there some more train spotting ones the 1984 very collectible some of those some obviously some years are rarer than others yeah just setting all his books out some slides really been here when all setting enough have we no so we left to ground again buses look at all this lot here tickets plates name plates oh that’s good isn’t it isn’t it D for go on that at lanan bus there all sauce isn’t there those ticket machines I know hello hello call them GM buses of national yeah these are old aren’t they what year is that one he got Delta gun so it’s probably 70s crossb Fleet list it’s not a timetable is it it’s a fleet list there’s a lot of Fleet ones but on time table so yeah mix photos DVDs books realt to Carwin look ah very glossy isn’t it is it oh so Nigel Graz obviously designed all the the malard and The Flying Scotsman of you see pictures of these people you just just the name do you know what I mean no I agree 40 that my favorite steam Locos and detail what is it it’s a stunny Pacific ah the were streamlined some of them then they they took the streamlining off but that one there yeah would have been built streamline cuz if they weren’t they curved down there they were more elegant so cuz it was hidden under streamlining they just covered it up should we have a look go on then now you’re here so let’s try and find [Music] one see there look that’s one without the streamlining on right so that would have been built without the streamlining yeah little things like that sure they actually cared I always I know I can’t help it look at these aren’t they beautiful though £75 LMS half pint teapot how thick and well made that is I’ve not seen that one before put that back in properly can’t see what that says can you Hots never ever seen the only place that anyone’s seen one is the national R Museum never seen I I they’re just so unusual what makes them unusual they’re decid they’re decided to go in the middle of a table so you’ve got LMS Hotel both sides oh right I see I see yeah you can see it from both sides good Mar yes absolutely a it lovely I do like old black and white photos not when the not just because some of I mean obviously had Color Film then but there just something about the black and white even on a relatively you know newish black 60s picture we’re setting up packing up yes packing up I I’d say but you you know better than I would the lights crew I used to have a bottle very Le a green pill bottle tablet medicine bottle whatever from the um London Midland Scottish yeah yeah I wish I still had it I’ve never seen one for sale anywhere something like that big that sort of color there Glenn Eagles Hotel Railway paychecks unless you can get already that that’s catching me ey just because of the color let’s look at these steam ones so that’s an air fix or is it no sorry Main Line Scot Guardsman we’ve got one of those we got that 35 we’re going to be doing a video on Mainline pretty soon now this at the time when it came out was an absolutely brilliant model and the M detail on it yeah real um Game Changer because you got all the I was just looking because you can see and I know it’s very hard without the the very open isn’t it the cab so you can see more look at all the yeah it’s still there though that’s nice that it’s a nice model I’m not sure how well they run but it is a tender Drive which is unusual for Mainline so maybe I think it might be just that because of rumor or it’s somebody else developed it but nice that I like that I don’t like tender dve how much is that does it say no 30 gear missing but it doesn’t affect the running that’ll be newer one cuz that’s dapple when they took over the the mainline models so they would have made some improvements to it ah how much is that one then it’s going to be more than 30 35 oh that’s not bad I’d go that newer Lady Diana Spencer so there’s another this is the air fix one on they were tender Drive they nice aren’t they so pretty though aren’t they I like that 45 we’ve got one of those I need to fix that one of ours there a wire come off I need to to solder it a great western ones all of them wow there some more there those are a lot big difference in price I think these a newer maybe I don’t know well there British Rail ones are still going that one see the seconds hand on it just the one hand yes maybe for a reason yeah look at that I don’t know enough about British Railways wound dressing oh Wow’s got some sort of bandage in it yeah that’s an us that’s not UND do it yeah want the asays you have asays people that smoke buy that would you just CU it’s different B Foria Shed from the London Brighton South Coast Railway that’s quite funny that it’s actually useful not much what we buy is useful bus stop sign look at that that’s brilliant how is that one 95 that’s that I like that British Airways concord shed boook Loco shed ABC ones what we got here C sauces Manchester Corporation oh paully look of the Gnomes we like gnomes no we don’t like gnomes Rick that’s the issue they’re good those no they’re not my birthday’s coming up no isn’t it no dear come on about the Mia Cat no we don’t want a make either come on I don’t like things in the garden like that snub you are guessing me a gnome for my birthday please a massive one no gnome more bus box got these damaged ones which are discounted so something put the battery away I just thought to have an Uzi because main obviously we got that one for glosser didn’t we yeah so I’m just interested the latest train spotting but you can still you can still train spot the old Locos cuz all the older books had a separate section at the back for preserved steam Locos oh right so now this has obviously got everything in everything is running and yeah but can surely there’s not as many should we go should go what we go train spotting no go on [Laughter] no unless it involves a pic to the day could do this one here the railway auction coming up there look there’s a sign look at this oh my God think of an encyclopedia what the heck Maps Tim taes everything oh my goodness no that that that’s um BR canal in darish not familiar with that one I was going to say that sleep tackle that but I won’t hi yeah you’re right good you what you just look through all magazines and everything just for the inspiration um I started doing it cuz I wanted something didn’t do yeah and then I’ll get that you do and then yeah it’s good A lot of people do Char for the artwork the art you might say well yeah they’re they’re such and such an amount but it’s going to cost you X to set it up p p take them out to take them out oh I can see it I’ll get a big one cuz I’ll lose them uh that one fun for go turn it over all right okay cool oh thought there were chocolates in there then no no every time see in the lounge I think no disappointing of nice buses I like those ones I don’t know what they are but very Rish looking at me reading the adverts on them as well X Lin’s Mega sightseeing bus reducing the risk of dementia pink and ride Robin Hood airport they’re very good liveries aren’t they aren’t they then you’ve got all these last time we came here we bought a bus did we did we got that one but in the great Manchester Livery look at these These are newer ones Chinese on them come pick a bus out it catches your eye there’s only blue ones no no well there is up there ah yeah and there’s one here that’s more your type of thing isn’t it I like the old ones they hop on up off we went to school on one of them didn’t we yeah sometimes he put an older bus on cuz he had nothing else it was really good this is it yeah take your life into your own hands when some of those wow there’s a lot of them in different liver M that’s one we got the other day is the glosser one I think so yeah that’s Ashton oh right okay 357 we’re going to end up buying loads of buses aren’t we let’s not hi Manchester locomotive Society oh right okay got photographs some books sections got your rail tours one here so where would that one be water side branch there got all sauce here what’s that it’s a key ring in the shape of a goach 50p that’s fun that’s good though and coasters we got this I’m just put that’s just his AIT is then you got obviously the main bits his old old train spotting boooks and there’s a record there CD these are very old aren’t they Railways diesels it’s from the days when there was lots of quirky diesels yeah well I think it’s the 1958 couple the models we got one of them aren it’s the 1968 one I’ve got good quality boooks you know the last are so tough as soon as it sounds they are somewhere under there and the First Act was postcards look how many postcards are wow look at them all they’re nice though aren’t they got that lovely look to them don’t they yeah oh wow that’s more like it Thomas can you say I have got my Percy socks on hey I’ll at those how you doing your B what you wearing them he said he been right go here at these old lamps they’re good aren’t they British Railways a British Railways brake van lamp oh wow 0 they lovely does generally open oh wow very good aren’t they like sort yeah these are on the brake band on the side lamps right yeah so you had you had um the red went in oh the back and then the clear one the driver could make sure the train was still attached cing had it used to happen on Long freight trains oh wow how great is that oh thank you for that thanks for showing us that that’s really good this one is a Southern Railway signal lamp Ser all right okay you brought help as well then yeah well yeah I’ve done that that’s the bit for sale here as well [Music] pa oh right yeah yeah we’ve been there haven’t we yeah we so this it’s only been valid for so many days yeah and wow so you would be able to run your model Railway to the exact timings of the location for that date Etc oh I see what you mean now so you can run your system your layout to the exact timetable of the period Etc the integral bit run it on time thank you for that cheers for that thank you we’ just bought this for a FIV so reason being it’s orange it’s good and we’ve never seen one before so now we have to find out who Taylor and McKenna hobby centers are some shop somewhere yeah tlor TI shop har it’s a new one there a picture of it in Albury oh oh we’re going fail it became bees bees took them over there’s a Facebook page for them hsby High Street in November 1986 Taylor and McKenna which is there can’t show that but there you go oh you can’t well nobody watches our videos don’t worry about it it’s not rivet in view look your phone come on at that c see guys all these are oh they got a Spam can of didn’t see that a which one’s that Clan line mer area good like those [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] the hot here there’s quite a lot here any of these we got we do love those don’t we that is good bit work on that one but most things are fixable are getting sometimes it’s getting hold of the heart that’s a Lima Valley I had that my first came in my first train set did you that one yeah quite a nice little wagon isn’t it I didn’t like the LMA wagons for a bit you cuz they’re cooking but seems to shrunk with the couplings yeah or I’ve got Bigg hands but I don’t mind them though so I think we will pick some up what we do need is coaches you can never really find the ones who won unfortunately blue one herea G be fish very nice diesels here Ren clust 20 which we haven’t got oh plastic one but we do need some of those cuz I always running twos oh do they yeah oh so you need two that is immaculate how much is ites just all sorts so you got some here for example look at cland no clid noid no land no it’s nice isn’t [Music] it oh love the photos they are really nice photos aren’t they yeah wow right we done those two we haven’t done this one no time tables tickets all these tickets oh season tickets wow that 1946 [Music] wow 43 wow these are amazing aren’t they when you’re look at them like this but you can see you know Carol Ms 1959 wow you got the names on it’s fine with a matching name for you there’ll be a pine in a trust me let’s have a look just grab some and then we can always swap over Flying Scotsman and it visited yeah record what a fun photo blue Pizza yeah has he filmed an episode of blue Pizza there I don’t think it ever went out people traveling on the that’s a good one that yeah it feel fundable wow we got that nice Loco though though is it I’ve got that you’ve got it yeah Porter keep an eye on my bags oh dear last train that’s the same one looks very familiar everybody C coming on is that more T VI married oh no sir on accident I like that I think they turn over now but never mind hoping to see you soon it’s off we can’t come by passenger train I’ll come with the goons oh the goods sorry I can’t see wow he’s lucky is this wembly no it’s Thursday so am I let’s have a drink at that fabulous isn’t it she overse ones AR a lot L more photos there timbery huh’s this no idea some badges here traction [Music] engines sure you got you the people who bought a for a pound y you want to explain how you get it for a pound cuz like a bargain we asked nicely it helps doesn’t it and they said yes you can talkes that we had to pay to move it so we got it for a pound um it’s going to cost us about 12 to move so 4,000 of carriage we a campaign which actually got that much we’ve just check 135,000 so we’re going to use that to buy generator so we can power the trade up so it works so you can sit on it it feels like it was all the right noises all that kind of so where’s it going to go um we’re heading to the T which is in Northwest St been there just um and they’ve got a mile and a half track and they’re going to help us let us do basically what we want with it so we’re hoping to be able to get either a generator down it’s a lovely Railway it’s really nice there that a beautiful part of the there weekend nice oh good with that are there any other ones of these preserved at all or no no the only other bits that exist the fire service got two driving cars practice play with right practice evacuations that kind of thing any else not this time similar times of nice so are you going to leave it in the blue and gray or you this is how it is at the moment right so this is the kind of history of the liveries on the right how it started and then how it ended up but this is actually how it is right now that’s my you keep it like that keep it like that yeah the only thing we might be tempted to do is the light clusters are different Al they’ve been modernized yeah right so might put one end back how it was because SP half his life which like this picture is quite nice the lady you can’t quite see her lady there is Queen so she traveled on this very train when when it opened the network we figured out exactly where she sat and so we’ve got a picture of her on the train so we’re going to looking at recreating that picture something of interest um are any these modeled by any not yet hores or anything like that lots of people making similar ones use the same body shells so I was thinking they might come and give you a have word with yourselves about it open open to of ideas good that we’re very much we’re not kind of keeping everything in someone comes to us an idea we’ll look at it see if we can make it work would be good wouldn’t it well excellent we look forward to seeing it running have you any sort of time frames for this um fet came withdrawn this summer um T valy is currently going some development work so they’re probably next EXC coming up ago yeah definitely got some merch here theing C you got a calendar rest calendar they arrived yesterday take a [Music] leave ah even got them in the winter for Christmas they very snowy picture Fe Station there’s a picture with a queen Queen on that one of you not not in the [Music] calar cool well done I just there’s so many you know dmus in that isn’t there it easy to get mixed up which ones which but you just remember those is one of the um well that year is when I got into Railway I remember as being a new dmu back then whereas now I’ve come back to Railways they an old making me old currently the oldest operation on the national network the only all train in public service is the 73 stock on the Underground line how are they R it though popular weren’t they comfortable like some of the ones we won’t know yeah I mean people when you they look at the new ones rather have the old ones back the SE P cool oh thank you for that all right it’s all over the world you grab that there we go got a book and for PR usual liy some 47s which are always good Western Juke a lighter one that I think [Music] Sheffield oops sorry I can’t see but oh Train’s in trouble oh dear Train’s in trouble there’s different volumes look at that yeah this is that’s one of those at the top there western ouch it’s scary to see when you look at them like this it was a famous crashing diggle you know were casualties oh my gosh wow in the war though [Music] he’s been bombed look that’s why they modernized a lot of the coaches just cuz they weren’t good in an accident yeah that’s quite a few of those volume seven seven goodness gracious wow are nice aren M racing the train yeah that’s [Music] good that’s really nice though I thought that believe it not is that one seen that in real life These are iconic images AR they what you like our calender yeah all a bit twe but you know I’m sure life is just like this for some people brings back memories racing the bike and his etie picture postcard perfect literally isn’t it you know when people have that saying postcard perfect this is what they [Music] mean that’s brilliant that one can you create photos from is that what people do yeah if you scan them right yeah if you scan slides you can get a really good resolution image oh cool we don’t know much about these this side of things so is that the slid no do people look for specific things or is it specific trains or what is it look for either places or particular engines or really yeah just depends what people want but uh yeah plenty to choose from yeah we’ve seen loads of people looking at them you see so we don’t we’re not used to trams picking up on there TRS there’s one C On’s monst preserved a peak rail finally enough trains in the80s two5 in the aps I like these sideof you know they take a lot of space but there’s a lot of information in them you know these small paper by ones yeah I do I can see the appeal you st so much of them 37 could you just keep going and going could you really have an LP just found any of these wow that’s train no how about that fantastic more here all diesels on here that’s what we like get out lot of fantastic diesel books there look for the spotter books there’s one spotter book I’m trying to find go on it is you might have you got this you ever see this one sorry um you know the the platform 5 ones that came out in like the early 80s did you ever get the very first one with the deltic on the front I can’t see anywhere Northwest buses in the 80s have a quick flick I remember that liy yeah [Music] going to W [Music] middl I could spend hours looking at this I know maybe we better put it down but yes anywhere got any older minute oh it’s just listed by Counting so you got ches mide greater Manchester and Lancashire that’s cumri black pill givs you all those memories doesn’t it remember that that’s Preston there Preston bus station I recognize that it’s quite a distinctive building it’s quite yeah famous Railway Maps this is where that trap came up before was it stop Bridge that don’t you yes yeah they got a model Railway show at the Del place at the Barrow round Bridge yeah yeah yeah not too far from me or us actually from I go well I’m not from Sheffield my Lake partner was from intake and I know uh stop have you got anything for glossip I was just get glossip out oh go on then I’ll let you alphabe no no no as long as you know oh that you have the wood head I’ve just seen the wood bit then let’s have a quick look oh we look gosh all that that’s the end of the line there yeah it’s currently open today oh there ah yes yeah that’s the original line there that’s where they ended up put the the railway center but it at one point it was the original line oh right I didn’t know that curves off there why did they move it you know it runs on his own hands no buffers the usual time yeah yeah right okay Pi out some like fall apart wow yeah Railway magazine it just been taken out and put in the book from the magazine you think think that’s what it’s for I don’t know B sleepers KN B no idea oops the Box badges oh yeah button Almost Is it is it it is a button I apologize it’s not a badge oh [Music] [Music] w [Music]

Hi all
You mentioned black and white photos I agree ,it’s hard to believe now we watched TV in black and white we got colour in 1970 British relay remember them 😊
All the best great posting as always
Mark 😊😊
Some top quality tat in that lot sorry to say we don’t have anything NEARLY as impressive as that even the model railway shows the stockists just don’t want to do the logistics and or getting stock. Do you realise we have not. Had a container from woodland scenics or Hornby arrive on our shores. True story so we just buy from the UK and the US with some astonishing freight upto and including 6 OO scale figures what about 15grams taking up the space of mailing what 6 pen lids. $600 AUD or $300+ POUNDS now come
On that just should not be. Anyway always looking sharp see you in the next one.
Another excellent Video, interesting array of items.
It was an excellent fair, nice to see you both, and thank you for the offer to carry a big lump of brass home for me . 🎉
Ive still got my blue combined edition spotters book with thousands of numbers underlined good days, The days when you could wander round depots with no problems, From Scotland to Cornwall, Take care guys And dolls! Ps take the gaffer for aday out on Crewe stn she would love it?
Something else railway related, it's mad to see how much that has been published over the years.
Not much model trains though, but some very interesting railway memorabilia, really like the lamps, and fully complete with the Color disks, would be a nice gadget in the train room…
Anyway, don't know the exact date but Happy Birthday Rick🥳
Cheers,
Danny
Lots of interesting items there…

Great video lots to see at that fair thank you for sharing 👍
Nice to see Jim of Locoshed Prestwich was up first😃
You should have come to Model Rail Crewe the following day, great show with loads of Youtubers at the meet and greet, there may be a combined ticket for both shows next year.
It’s great to see that your wife has good taste in silver and investment pieces. I would have gone for exactly the same things as she does!!
But still, my first love at places like this have to be the train items. I have mostly Southern Railway steam locomotives, some green BR Mk1 carriages and a selection of freight wagons.
I’m absolutely amazed that your wife is interested in the big car with two decks of seats!!
As far as buses are concerned, mine are all Southdown Buses that are of the late 30s design because my layout is the heritage version of a “Dad’s Army’ layout.
The train lamps were used in different ways on different railways. The Southern Railway had two sets of portable lamps, one for the back of the train and one for signalling in bad weather conditions when it might be difficult for a train driver to see the main signals.
You should see the railway signs and station signage at the headquarters of the Hoddesdon Model and Railway Club!! We have wagon plates, station signs, locomotive nameplates and all that!!
By the way, Hoddesdon Model and Railway Club are having an Open Day on the last Sunday in August. We’re due to have trade visits from Kent Garden Railways.
When it comes to buses, my favourites are red, classic and have either the AEC Regent 3 or Regent 6/Matador truck engine and are known as RT and Routemaster.
That was grand, nice to see something a tad different, really enjoyed that again, well done you both Thank you.
very interesting with all the railwayana
Hi Well Chuffed. Good to meet you both at Crewe ! Best Regards Alan :o)
