Taking a totally wild guess here that it’s a Schwinn Frontier 26in mountain bike. Late 1990’s early 2000’s.
Sometime the serial number will indicate what year the frame was built.

I’d say it’s pretty good. Certainly not the glory days of Shwinn, but also not trash!
And if you’re kitting this out for touring. You might have to be clever with any racks that you install. But with some critical thinking and a trip to any hardware store, I’m sure you’ll be fine! 😁

That looks exactly like my ‘99 Schwinn Frontier. I’d say it’s at most a year or two younger/older.
I’ll wager the closest thing you’ll find to a serial number will be stamped into the underside of the bottom bracket but I could never find a website that could match the number on my frame.
