you can get new ones, microshift makes a variety of them
I’m not positive but I’m rebuilding an old Guerciotti right now with down tube shifters. I think all you’ll need to do is pull the Allen bolts on the down tube, install the shifters, shorten the cable.
*I have a Lemond Zurich in the same colorway. I bought it from a lady who just wanted it gone and gave me a bargain. I sold the gruppo for what I paid for the bike. Now the frame is on my ZwiftHub.
For purposes of helping, I took the cable guide off so you could see what the tube/bosses look like.
Take it apart and try. If it doesn’t work, reassemble.
