My deafult would be magic mary with some snakeskin (purple or orange for the soft compound)

Top 3 would be:
1.) Argotal front, Kryptotal back with Enduro casings.
2.) Michelin Wild Enduro’s
3.) Magic Mary, Big Betty

Looks perfect for the Argotal front / Kryptotal rear trail/endurance combo I ran all winter in Tucson.

These are what my trails look like up and back. I run an assegai front and a dissector rear.

I’m currently running a wild Enduro up front and ground control in the rear. It keeps my hardtail fast but grippy.

Assegai up front if it’s DH only, DHF if I’m climbing with DHR2 rear no matter which
… I think the more important question is what casing and if you should use an insert. If DH only I’d run DD or DH front/rear with Cushcore (rear only). If climbing I’d skip the insert and go EXO+ front/rear … Hopefully you’re familiar with Maxxis cause all their different combos could be confusing.

Michelin tires are best in the game

Barzo / Mezcal in TNT casing as long as the trails are dry.
Mud or wet hardpack made me switch to Agarro / e-Barzo.

Are you riding FS or hardtail? I’d probably just use a Specialized Ground Control or Maxxis Ardent. People love to ride heavy, slow rolling tires on XC trails for some reason. I don’t get it.
I understand it’s all personal preference, but in my opinion most of these suggestions are overkill/slow unless you are an absolute hammer who keeps folding wheels or something.
