Hi folks,

I was looking to buy a Ti frame for my P-Line, and couldn’t find much info before I took the leap. I bought a raw Ti frame from Ti39 and I have been running it for a couple of months now — though I would share my experiences.

I went for more or less the cheapest option — raw finish, 1.6mm tubing. It arrived pretty quickly, comms were good, packaging was good.

The frame itself seemed flawless. Finishing was even. There was a seat tube insert, and bushings for the rear frame already prepared. The bottom bracket was nicely finished.

Build up was super easy. Everything fitted as expected, from the headset and fork to the seatpost, rear frame and bottom bracket. Swapping frames took me a few hours in the afternoon.

Ride quality is great. I am 90kg and I don’t find it flexy or soft, but it damps well. I enjoy the ride much more than the original steel frame. For reference my P-line is now 7.2kg with Ti stem, Ti seatpost, carbon bars, carbon saddle, Conti tyres, original wheels, fork and rear frame.

I do not regret getting the thinner tubing or the raw finish — although I did originally want the turkish.

I would absolutely order from Ti39 without reservations. It has been a huge upgrade both in weight savings and in ride quality.

Happy to answer any questions!

  1. How many of the original components do you have left at this point? Would it be possible to do a complete non-brommie build?
