I’d like to use Spirgrips on a Brompton; and on their webshop they sell them in either a 31.8mm or 22.2mm diameter. But the M handlebar on my Brompton is 25.4mm diameter. Which Spirgrips do I get and how do I fit it to my handlebar?
I’ve already tried the SQLab Innerbarends but don’t like how small and short they are; the Spirgrips is larger and recreates a more “hoods” like position than it. This review corroborates that.
I know it’s been done before as this YouTube fit Spirgrips on their Brompton but I’m not sure how to replicate it. I'm a bike mechanjc noob.

25.4mm diameter is the clamp where the bar is clamped on steerer tube (the stem). on the grip and almost everywhere else it is tapered to 22.2mm
