Sorry for the poor photo. I honestly wasn't sure how to pose with the bike in a way that would offer the best information. I'm somewhere between 5'10", 5'11". I believe the bike frame is 18".

I intend on adding drop bars to this bike. It doesn't feel very small when riding, but I'm more used to road bikes, and have been riding a vintage Peugeot road bike that has been too big for many years, so my reference for sizing is unreliable at best.

I know my body will tell me what's best, but I also wanted to see with this community.

Thanks in advance.

It looks OK from this photo, but adding drop bars isn’t really that practical. There are workarounds, however, like the surly corner bars or drop bar ends. But i would pass on this and Look for a road bike or a gravel bike instead.

If that’s proper saddle height, it looks like it’s within the right range, but bike might be a hair small for you.

    Test ride it and see.

  2. For these 90s MTBs, having a smaller frame than what you’d normally ride is actually better for drop bar conversions. The reach on these bikes are super long, so as long as your seatpost isn’t crazy high, it should work out great.
