Anyone know some good modern parts I could swap out to get this thing running like new? Also I wanna know if I can run a different stem instead of the old integrated one. Let me know!
Who throws this away ? It’s pretty clean, nice color. Carbolite 103 is the low end of peugeot tubes (non butten), but still. I don’t know the exact model but it’s from around 1980, 50% of chances that the bottom bracket is BSC, 50% it’s french threading. Just find a seatpost (probably 26.4 mm), change cables and you got yourself a cool bike.

The challenge with the stem will be French dimensions. It may use a French size fork and stem, the diamater of the quill will be 22.0 mm instead of the more common 22.2 mm.
If your city has a registry of stolen bicycles you might be doing someone a solid by checking to be sure this bike isn’t on it before you get too busy fixing it up.
