Finally pulled the trigger on a Wald 137. It just made sense after installing the klunker bars. The supplied struts didn’t fit but I was able to borrow some from a Nitto rack in the parts bin. 😆

Suggestion: take that nitto rack, mount it to the bike, then attach the basket to the rack with steel hose clamps.
