I ride a neo retro build bike (reference photo below) and it has the ULTEGRA 6700 sti shifters/break levers. My problem is that the right lever wont tighten, even though i destroyed an allen key by tightening the bolt to its limits. Even after that it has a wobble. Any possible solution to my problem?
P.S. i have videos of the problem too but reddit wont let me upload🫨

This part should fix it:

Maybe you could try pulling the bolt and greasing the threads first to see if it makes a difference enough for it to sufficiently tighten.
When they just won’t tighten and always stay pretty loose, the band clamp is typically broken and needs replacing. It might be in a place you can’t see with the tape on.
If it’s tightening but has some ability to slip under force no matter what, but the band clamp is intact, you can typically solve that by greasing the threads and putting carbon prep on the clamp surface.
