This picture is old, but it is virtually identical to my current bike setup (gearing is lighter now, and bar position is a bit higher). I want to start riding to work again, but I really want to get the weight off my back. In the last year or so I've been using a laptop and bring it home with me, so that weight (17" for engineering work) plus a tablet, lunch, and change of clothes really weighs on my during the ride home, especially in the summer.
I got the front rack to help, and until I started using the computer more, it was sufficient. Does anyone have a pannier and rack setup they like and would recommend? I don't need excessive cargo capacity, but I think a rear rack would go a long way to make the ride much more enjoyable.

You have pretty short chainstays, which might make any rack prone to heel strikes with the panniers. Bike does not appear to have eyelets at the seat tube for mounting a rack, so you would probably want a solution like the Tailfin racks. Theae might let the panniers ride high enough to avoid heel issues.
