I got really into cycling during the lockdown and got into probably the best shape of my life. I recently decided to get back into it and I’ve been making some repairs/replacing parts on my bike. My tektro brakes have seen better days so I decided to replace them. I thought I was getting a deal on eBay on some Ultegra brakes but instead got the R700 rim brake. As far as I can tell, they seem like a knock off of the BR-7000 the Shimano 105 rim brakes. Before I try and get my money back, has anyone had any experience with these brakes?

Absolutely the best bang for the buck. My only gripe? I wishhhhhhh they took tires wider than 28c. Sigh. One reason why I went back to Tektro R559. Sure, the Tektros are not as good as 105 but I rather have more tire clearance.
