I made a phone holder for my H36 cockpit, mainly for bikepacking. It's made of 3mm AL plate and AL holder from Decathlon shop. I could spray paint, but as a working prototype it's solid and well centered.
I wanted to have it slightly above the cockpit for easy charging and to have free space for any handlebar bag.
What do you think?

The vibrations might destroy your phone, almost certainly the camera if it has OIS.
The sun/heat will overheat your phone. A dedicated head unit would be far more suitable.
