It’s my second retro bike build, made a step through last month. Original bike was £40 from a local old age men’s support group. Specialized Hardrock (no one knows what year, help?) I made a lot of mistakes on this one, like cutting the chain too short, installing the BB wrong first try and more. I had to buy some things twice because of mistakes with sizing or breaking them which felt so dumb. It’s taken me a little over a month to do and I’m so stoked that it rides and it’s smooth and everything seems ok! …Except the seat clamp lever fell apart but it’s ok I’ve got a rusty spare that will soak in evaporust and save the day later. Thanks to xbiking for always inspiring me!

Nice! Everything gets easier from here. What bars are you running?
Those Goose neck stems always a classy touch to get some height on older bikes
Congrats, looks clean!
