Under the left side of the black rubber hooks on the other side of the brake. They are called v brakes.

The quick release for the brakes is undone, you just gotta clip it in place. If you look up “V brakes” you can see how it’s supposed to look, just hook it up like that. You really should know how to do this already since it’s required to take the wheel off to fix a flat.

Underneath that rubber grommet there is a cylinder at the end of that bent metal piece. You’ll notice there is a circular cut in the swiveling metal bit on the other “arm” of the brake. Pull the two halves together and slip that cylinder into the slot. There is also that black wire poking out that acts like a spring. You should be able to find somewhere for that to sit on the back of the arm. Make sure it seats good and give the brake a couple test pulls and you should be good to go!
Edit: it does kinda look like the slot on the swively part is bent, you should be able to bend the tab back with some needle nose pliers if you are having trouble keeping it connected.

All the above, AND it looks like the tension spring is out. That thin black metal rod has to be tucked into the notch on the arm. Look at the other one to see where it goes.

Compare to your rear brake for reference how to fix. Did you hit something to make it come loose?
