I decided to buy a wahoo bolt v2 , but as i have been using a garmin my canyon bike has a mount (picture) for garmin devices . My question is can i take the mount of of the whole body and put a wahoo compatible one so i dont have to buy a separate whole mount ?

Yes you can.
Or you can take the cheap route as I did, take out this mount, turn a quarter and refit (might have to drill some holes on the support bracket) to accommodate the alternative install 😉
