    Why do I need hub guards for pegs?

      You don’t necessarily, but what they do is protect the hub flanges and spokes for grind damage.

      I’ve broken spokes with grinds. The hub guard works if you’re into grinding

      I find it guides the grind onto the peg pretty nicely, instead of catching the dropouts and sticking.
