May, 23rd 2021… I did a tour to a beautiful spot, where the creek Wurm flows into the Ruhr river at Heinsberg Kempen. During the tour I used my flatrate internet connection from my mobile phone (great for campers in Germany from freenetfunk.de) to watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco that was won by Max Verstappen. I watched 50 of the 78 laps during biking along the Wurm. The last 28 laps I did watch at a very nice place along the banks of the Wurm using my Leki camping table and my Helinox One chair. I watched the Grand Prix on my Poco F3 phone (with a lot of nits – necessary to view in bright sunlight) – that worked like a charm. I also used a second DJI Osmo Action camera for this tour placed on the rear fender looking backwards. I think that footage is very nice though I have to do something about the clicking sound it picks up at the back of my bike (I guess it’s from the panniers).
