My son's Aeroad headset bearings need replacing, not covered by the warranty, to be expected.
I do expect them to last more than 6 months!
Installed by the factory without grease I suspect. His CX bearings lasted longer this season. At least they had the decency not to charge labour on the fitting, yes the cables run through the middle.
I should add that the bike lives in the house not a damp shed

Does living in the house include being on a stationary trainer? Notoriously a bike on a turbo can be drenched in sweat which is really bad for corrosion.
I don’t like those caged bearing at all. Get something with angular bearings.
