Even my “rowdy” tires are 700×42 (measure 44mm on the rim), so I’d say that’s plenty.

  2. I would bet one of my bikes that geo chart is wrong. Framed was awful with details, terrible with geometry charts, and I’m not surprised they went under. They relabel other manufacturer’s frames (which is a normal thing) but don’t seem to know much about them or the specs and small parts associated with them. Their carbon fiber Basswood is a Carbonda 696 (which is a popular frame a lot of people used). However, Framed called every one of their gravel bikes a Basswood and the geo chart you linked is identical to the carbon fiber version. The chance that the titanium Basswood frames they relabeled are the exact same geometry as the carbon fiber one is highly unlikely. A catalog frame with unknown geometry would be a hard pass from me. Maybe you’re more adventurous or the price is low enough that you won’t be out of money if you resell.

See if this link compares the two: https://geometrygeeks.bike/compare/framed-basswood-titanium-2022-58,ican-x-gravel-fm696-2020-580/

There’s a great Framed owners Facebook group that’ll have good info. I just built up the alloy frame and that group was really helpful
