Whenever I visit a new city, I try to buy a jersey and a sticker from a local bike shop as a souvenir. This place was close to the hotel I stayed at in Charleston so I popped in. Both the guy working the counter and woman who owned the place were delightful, even to the women who parked their SUV on the sidewalk directly in front of the entrance.
“Happens all the time with the bachelorette parties,” the guy said.
That said, it was so fucking hot and humid that I have no idea how anyone actually rides a bike in this city.
