Who the hell is Ironhead Sally? Well here’s my channel description:
Old School Bikes and Old School Ways! Ride hard, wrench a lot, and always having a blast.
Bike camping, wrenching, and shenanigans. My husband and I create motorcycle content for people that are tired of seeing all of the fake insta accounts of sponsored boring yuppies. Here’s some realness, we are just broke bikers living the low life and getting by. I ride a 1985 Ironhead Chopper as my daily, my touring bike is a 1984 FXR. We have lots of Ironheads and FXRs and are constantly building more, trying to keep these old neglected scoots on the road instead of rotting away in a garage.
Appreciate all the love & support
Keeping it Real! Keep it Sketchy!

you ready for shopping little baby got Twi cam in it that’s probably the ebo armor yeah okay that thing is just pretty title 69 damn okay so this is what you call efficiency so it opened at 9:00 a.m. 10:30 first trip to the car yo $10 rear tires we got such serious deals in there man you got to get in there and find all the bike parts haven’t found a lot of iron head stuff yet but I’m sure it’s hiding we’ve only just barely scratched the surface of this spot meat so far so hold it over the other side that’s there you go hell yeah man sick oh second trip to the car we got so much stuff manuals T man gasket sets everything hot sauce what up okay so we really I think got this down pat because it seems to be the same thing every year that by the time we are almost done shopping we’re getting to the point where there are a whole lot of people coming in so now we can take a quick break ridiculousness ridiculousness yes so this swap meet has been going on since the 70s and well so now it’s technically not called to swap meat anymore it is a Motorcycle Expo but it is still the largest indoor motorcycle swap meat in all of America um so let’s go check it out the vendors inside so they said there were 600 vendors total and out of those 600 200 were used bike parts and I think we bought everything that we could possibly use bars $10 for rear rear tires like we got some sweet sweet deals and I’m really happy but I’m kind of sad because like we’re out here in t-shirts and tank tops and really sad that we’re not riding but with everything that we bought we can finish up some projects and really do some sweet what sucks is we literally were the we were one of the few first people to come in but we still missed a an a titled FXR frame for $800 by like that much oh that’s cool they have the whole bu process that is slick a I love that that’s nice [Music] how [Music] much how much you don’t want to know if you have to ask you can’t afford with tile oh with title that’s not that’s cheaper than that other one it looks like it’s better conditioned [Music] too oh my goodness this bike is so sexy that’s ridiculous oh yeah the front end of the engine look at a shifter on this one look at that ridiculous [Music] e [Music] oh you’re [Music] fine [Music] [Music] [Music] what a painter gr the pain if we go look up here oh this wow the sunshine is just yeah so you got orange plake there’s even some blue oh wow but it’s also and the what the is that heart oh 82 82 and somebody 8000 very nice Tastefully did yeah it has such a nice Dan and got she’s got the rubber de too I don’t understand the rubber deck thing really yeah that’s [Music] [Music] up [Music] [Music] yeah they’re [Music] the go for okay so this year swap meat we scored like super big time and I’m really stoked about it because there’s a bunch of little odds and ends that really add up when you buy them online so swap me to the perfect place to get them so serious serious deals here brand new 21in front tire that I need for the 85 Iron Head two 16inch rear tires yeah $10 look at that they still got the nubbies on it these are brand new takeoffs 10 bucks you can’t beat it sweet Chopper tank bitching little Z Bars got a tachometers because I’m going to put a tack on the 85 Iron Head since I’m redoing the Pistons and the Rings and all that good stuff I need a tachometer make sure I break her in right new intake a a that I need for the 1957 another service manual always get the cheap service manuals from SWAP Mees La FXR SE cool Chopper seat just a whole bunch of Keepers man Keepers that we’re always looking for blessed by God spoiled by husband you’re damn skippy oh I love SWAT Meats okay so there you have it that was a recap of the 2024 Denver Motorcycle Expo so that was this is the 46th year they’ve been doing it so they started in 1978 in Denver used to be at a different Fairgrounds but now it’s at the Western Complex huge huge huge Arena so it used to be actually referred to as the Denver Motorcycle Show and swap meet and now it has since been renamed as the Expo and it’s been like that for a couple decades which there’s a lot of cool stuff that happens at the Expo and we don’t stay around for all the extra stuff because we like bike stuff we want to do bike stuff so you know they had the um mechanical bull and they had like concerts and things like that honestly the whole reason that we go is for the swap meet parts and it’s always interesting to see the people that are walking around buying $13 beers versus the ones buying $13 bars you know what I’m saying but you know it is what it is if it was just a swap meat nobody would show up but I’m super glad that people do show up and there’s a lot of awesome vendors that come from all over the country to set up so if you are looking for bike stuff to do in January definitely put the Denver swap meat on your list it’s always a fun time we did see though that um over the last couple years there’s less and less Iron Head parts and definitely less FXR Parts like the couple people we talked to that did have any FXR Parts they’re like yo man I keep that at home which I get it I totally get it because that’s what we were really on the hunt for Iron Head stuff and FXR stuff because that’s that’s what we ride man but um you know Iron heads are kind of a Dying Breed and the more and more that we talk to people about it the more that we’re really seeing the the lack of enthusiasm for iron heads there is this stigma that these older bikes are always giving you trouble and fits that’s not necessarily the case it’s that they need some love and attention man they’ve been rode hard and put up wet or they’ve been left outside they’re covered in Rust there could be a million things wrong and once you get them dialed in Pur like a kitty man all day so that was super it was cool talking with some like-minded people about that type of stuff but you know I think we bought up all the Iron Head stuff that we could find and you know little random odds and ends and things like that here and there so that’s pretty exciting the the bike show itself was smaller than I’ve seen in previous years I was kind of surprised at that uh there were a couple of bikes around that were part of the show or hanging out around vendor Village that you could tell that they were ridden there like some dude rode his pan head in there and put some paper towel down knowing that it was going to leak and those are the bikes that I really love to see but it’s always fun to see the bikes where you know they get ridden man like you know that they got some miles and they got some stories there were a couple cool iron heads for sale um yeah just a bunch of cool stuff man but we’re seeing less and less iron heads every time we go to events and that just gives us more and more incentive to represent represent iron heads your bger man let me see what you can do without a fairing you know what I’m saying uh but you know it it is what it is it’s all in good fun and it’s all just a bunch of bike people hanging out and talking about motorcycles and talking about traveling and going on trips and different things so you know it was it’s always just a good experience and it was hard being in Colorado Springs and it was like almost 60 degrees in Denver for the swap meat and then going back down so it was really difficult to not have our bikes with us yeah right buba it was so so hard yeah we didn’t have you there and we didn’t have the bikes we didn’t have you or the bikes oh the bub who a good boy oh I missed you too I know I know all right I’ll take you out in the field in a little bit so uh good boy go on since we were already out on the front range of Colorado doing bike stuff doing SWAT meate stuff didn’t ride out there because the mountains are packed with snow and we need to keep our Loot and take it home so I went ahead and grabbed my heads and my jugs that I took off the 1985 iron head if you’ve watched some of those videos I had two broken piston Wings whoops you know so it needs some work you know my I had absolutely no valve seals um I just I had some issues that I needed to take care of you know the valves were just gnarly and I want to make sure that this engine is done right that’s my daily that gets a lot of miles and I also want to open her up just a little bit so what we did was take these parts to the one person in America or probably the world that I trust working on the inard of this motor besides my husband and that is Dragon man so um I used to live in Colorado Springs so of course I know Dragon man who doesn’t you know uh if you don’t know him stop this video right now go check him out and you’ll fall in love guns Military Museum and full machine shop so it was awesome so that video is going to come up and we’re going to talk about what dragon man offers and what he did to really really help out that engine so I took anyway so spoiler alert that’s awesome yep I took my top end of dragon man and uh hopefully next weekend I’ll be picking it up quick turn around boom boom boom yeah it’s I’m I’m really stoked so we have our work cut out for us and it is now Sunshine so back at home everything is unloaded waiting on some parts but in the meantime we still have I still got the FXR that’s running just peachy keen and it’s like sunshine outside and almost 50 degrees so I’m done sitting here because I need to go ride or I’m going to lose my mind so I’m going to go get some sunshine and get some wind in my face and uh I’ll see you guys later thanks for watching

Very cool. Thanks for posting. I am in Montana. I could be in Denver with a long days drive. I would like to go maybe next year?
❤
Right on, very cool 😎
…and a good time was had by most 😅
I should hook up my trailer and go out there next year. The white Sportster Chopper looks like a good bike. Is the "Expo" held more than once per year?
Love it . Please go slower next year and show more thank you so much from Canada
Thanks for sharing girly!!!! 👍🍺 SLICK
Mist it this year thank for posting what I mist lol enjoy !
Thanks for posting! Saw you guys downstairs across the way in the afternoon and was going to say hey, but that band was really loud and I was ready to hit it and get away from the crowds. Funny to me that the “older” bike parts there were evos, not many shovel parts, at least not what I was looking for. Still fun to check out a few cool bikes and people watch and then get the hell gone.
Love the shirt!!!!
Thanks for the video.
Love the vlog at least there's someone showing price tags ( thanks)
Lots of people there. I picked up a handful of great deals. Sorry didn't see you two there. But it was good !!! I'm going up this weekend for a TriState Swap meet for cars.

Man that place is awesome I got to go next year
Been there many times in the 90s always found sweet deals.
Wow what a bike show. As only the U.S. can do it. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from down under 🇦🇺 Stan.
I love my ultra with a fairing. I'm not trying to be tough. I'm not trying to impress anyone.
I love swap meets, cars or motorcycles.
I love a good walkthrough at a junkyard.
Next year take the Freightliner with a 53 foot van trailer you can haul more parts home.😂😂😂😆😆😆
Good video👍👍🏁
Be careful, ride safe.
Some of those bike prices are crazy high.
Great video. Looked like a great swap meet. Thanks for sharing.
I told you it'd blow your mind! Glad you had fun
$13 for a beer is MADNESS! Did you say a titled FXR frame for $800, or was I just wishful thinking? Also I'd like to know how they got those hard bags on that sportster next to that other sportster they wanted $8,000 for I believe it was at 6:32 of the video. Looked pretty clean set up with the bags on that sportster opposed to some fabricated set ups that look totally off and very rough. Thanks!
looks like a great time, but I cant watch anymore your camera work is making me dizzy.
When will there be another swap happening in Colorado? I am in northern I am in need of a 35mm front end as well as a 39mm front end an eBay is crazy expensive.
Just think of all of the Parts you could have bought if you would have driven a pickup or a Mini-Van to the Swap meet..
I Love Swap. MEETS !!!
thank you !
God I love motorcycles
It's sad watching this video after knowing the outcome. You are so cool and gave Dragon man such props only to be screwed over by the bastard so sorry but now the world knows what type of person in shop they are so I guess there is some good out of all of it was that your expense
