today I’m sharing something personal with you because there’s big news welcome YouTube friends I’m so excited to welcome you today to a special video because I am sharing some personal news also I’m sharing why this personal news is let’s call it interesting and relevant for you and also I’m sharing some stunning writing welcome my name is Roxy and why do I think that no wait you know what what’s the news the personal news is I am moving from Mallorca to the Costa Blanca in Spain my new home Costa Blanca why do I think this is relevant for you and why am I doing this in the first place okay first the second question which is why am I doing this in the first place well as you may know I’m a mountain bike coach I travel and I’m also an international instructor trainer training instructors worldwide so why am I moving from the beautiful beautiful island Mallorca on the mainland in Spain I just have gorgeous training facilities even better weather than in Mallorca and it’s easier to travel all over the world and easier to let’s say greet people and athletes from all over the world that’s the main reason why I’m moving here and why do I think this is relevant to you and why am I sharing this with you well as a psychological counselor and as a mountain bike coach I would say that my main goal is to Aid you to find ways to make both writing and life easier to make it more harmonious and to make it more in in line with your let’s call it purpose calling or passion and as a psychological counselor I meet a lot of people who notice that no they’re not in line with their purpose and with their passion but they don’t have the courage to change it because we humans we love ruts in a way although we don’t like rats when we’re riding we like ruts when we’re living we love it when everything is easy and streamlined and we are following our habits and then we tend to just keep following our habits and omitting that we’re not as happy as we could be on the way but the challenge of overcoming that rut of getting out of our streamlined life often seems too big to actually do it and that’s why I myself also question my safe self daily that am I really making use of my talent the way I could and am I living a life according to my purpose and is or are the habits I am living in today really serving the person I want to be because only if you live it yourself you can convey it to the outside and you can assist other people to reach their purpose and their goals and to live according their passion so when I noticed that Majorca as much as I love it and as beautiful as it is is not serving my purpose anymore that’s when I decided hey it’s time for a big change and that is exactly what I want to invite you to do today is just question yourself in small things every day is the way I am living my life is the way I am riding my bike is it the easiest well not the easiest but the the most purposeful way that it can be and is it easy in the sense that is it flowing naturally or do I have to force it because if you need to force it then maybe the challenge of getting out of that rut breaking through the habits that may not be serving you anymore maybe it’s actually then it’s worth it and obviously there is one more big reason why I’ve moved here to the Costa Blanca do you know can you guess come on give it a guess no I’m kidding of course the writing it’s amazing the writing is absolutely amazing and I’m not going to say more because you’re going to see right now the trails here at the Costa Blanca are a mixture of natural Trails very Rocky Trails super loose trails and most of them have absolutely stunning views the great thing about this area which is near La nocia and Althea is that we have a micro climate in this area this means that we are surrounded by pretty big mountains of 1 000 well up to 1 500 height meters starting from sea level and due to this microclimate due to these mounts surrounding this area we have very very very little rain I’ve actually spent many Winters here and I’ve had a total of four days of rain here I’m not kidding the trails as I said are super technical so I recommend an Enduro or actually an e in the row bike and shuttle assisted rides so I can recommend booking a local guide because otherwise it’s hard to find the cool trails and a lot of the height meters are really really exhausting the best time of the year to travel here to come mountain biking is Autumn winter and spring so I would say anytime between October and may summer gets too hot no matter when you come definitely bring sunscreen the city you can see with the skyscraper is right there at the Horizon is called Benidorm which is also called Benny York because it has so many skies favorites it’s definitely pretty spectacular to view from the trails yes the terrain here is super technical but if you want to learn to ride here I can help you just check this link you will not only find my online courses with awesome skills that you can train at home but also my camps and clinics that I offer here also at the Costa Blanca but also in Mallorca but I’m usually booked out pretty well in advance so make sure to check it out in advance all right so more writing while you’re watching some more awesome riding footage I’d like to share more about the topic I talked about at the beginning of the video there is a quote that I live by and that I often invite my clients to think about the quote is environment trumps will in other words even the strongest person will not be able to live his or her passion if the environment he or she is in does not support this passion we are literally the average of the five people we spend or most time with also we will never rise above our own opinion of ourselves therefore I would like to invite you to do two things one ask yourself if it may be necessary to change your opinion of yourself to reach a goal that you may have had for a long time and two ask yourself whether your environment is serving your will yes that’s the guy on a skateboard following me on the insta 360 camera cool feature huh so one reason why I moved is that I knew that my calling to inspire others needed more space more space on many levels and more space than I had in Mallorca and that my environment there kept trumping my will and yes it’s not easy to just move to a different place to let everything behind but often it is the hardest things that bring us the farthest and after all it’s challenges that make us stronger right my next video coming is a skills
