This is a very emotional video for me, as it’s about my ancestors and my roots. I feel deeply the situation with all my heart and I find it very sad and frustrating that Ukrainian language has been suppressed for such a long time by Russian Empire. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your genuine contribution to the Rebirth of the Ukrainian language and for liking, commenting, sharing this video and becoming my patron on Patreon. [Music] learn Ukrainian with Victoria hello everyone and welcome um to the part two of the bike trip um Story Time series so I um decided to record um this episode whilst watching to a very nice Sunset and it’s when it’s getting dark that um I like to tell stories so I would like you to see the little bits of sunset left it’s not much here is my um friend Jake I call him Jake or Jakey and that’s was the story partly will will be about okay so um yeah so sit back and I hope you um can enjoy the story maybe get even inspired and hopefully learn some Ukrainian in in a relaxed and fun uh way Adventure is [Music] so I promised that I would tell you something very special that happened on the next day very special f after the festival so in the second day after the festival um but before that I will tell you a little story [Music] um [Music] so originally originally I wanted to reach um one um reservation I think it’s called natural reservation like the place which is protected by law the natural place like forests and stuff um and yes so uh I lost the train of thought um it happens it just reminds me I’m a human [Music] um I remember um mosquito hello um no I don’t eat mosquitas anyway uh I remembered I wanted to tell that um the goal of my um Journey was exactly this uh natural reservation that I wanted to uh reach is a natural reservation so the goal of my journey [Music] I did not reach this goal in the first day um yeah um because I was at the festival I was at the Medieval Festival um yes I should I think I should have told you this before and not after 5 minutes of um recording this video but I really strongly recommend you to watch the first part of this um video series uh called story um um no story time yeah I think so Story Time part one a bike trip I would recommend you to watch it first because then you could follow up faster anyway um um I’m considering actually to maybe make a transcript for this episode with all the useful vocabulary phrases um anyway if I don’t make it let me let me know in the comments below if it would have been useful for you so yes uh I did not reach it in the first day um by the way in Ukrainian we say um so not as in English I did not reach it in the first day but literally I have just said I did not reach her in the first day because the journey is feminine in Ukrainian as every single noun um no not feminine but uh feminists would wish every single noun in in Ukrainian is feminine but um no no no no no we have three genders um feminine masculine and the middle gender I’m not showing you the middle finger no no it’s just a middle gender um so when in English it would be um it in Ukrainian for example I like um it when referring to ice cream for example oh this ice cream I love it in Ukrainian you would say it like this o so here the ice cream is masculine it’s probably confusing huh J is feminine ice cream is masculine um maybe they should get it together and marry each other um but anyway it’s um like that that you need to refer it as if you would speak about the person for example oh John I love him so it’s same with ice cream oh ice cream I love him I know it’s a bit confusing but that’s how we do it in Ukrainian anyway enough for the boring grammar part let’s come back to the fun Story part so um I did not reach this goal in the first day uh or I I did not reach her in the first day um that’s why I stopped by in the middle of the field um for the night um no it basically means um so n is night and not is um basically when you stay for the night I’m not sure if I recall English word for it but anyway um next morning I woke up very fast and I gathered my stuff uh quickly is quickly um so in reality I would like to um confess to make a confession is to [Music] confess so I was at the Bazar or Market during the [Music] festival but I did not um pay for the ticket qu is ticket unfortunately um when I was going out of the ter of the fesal um so when I was going out I’ve been asked to show the ticket with um they said can I look at your ticket um by the way is the particle which just implies question or um yeah question and it doesn’t mean anything else so you could also say with talk they asked me this question and I was so tired um [Music] they asked me this question um I was so tired is tired and as I’m a girl I say if you’re a boy you would say um so yeah I was so tired that I just said no um [Music] um believe it or not believe it or not but they actually let me go the woman at the exit she was like may I see your your ticket I was like No And she was like okay just go and I was really surprised surprised um but I just let it be because I was so tired I just was happy that she let me go um I have a feeling that I will have a part three for the series because it’s already getting dark and mosqu ketos are starting to um crave for my blood um so and it’s already 13 minutes so I actually have a lot a lot of things to tell more um but I think I would split at some point in about 7 minutes and continue in the next part so that I don’t have the pressure to tell it all in in in just this video okay um so yeah I was um so yeah I just said no she said okay just [Music] go long sentence I wonder if you actually understood anything of it I hope so for so what did I just say um I sat on my bicycle basically and I went to the Natural reservation which was just 3 kilom away from the festival um approximately and um um so when I arrived at this reservation it was already very late very late um approximately 8:00 in the evening um so I decided to spend the night there it’s just one word um to spend the night there um yes now enough with the pre-story now um let’s continue with what I already told you that I woke up early and that I packed my stuff quickly and that I um yeah and that’s when I’m going to [Music] continue and my plan was to something is in the bushes I think five more minutes and I go because I think it’s just a bird my plan was to pay for the ticket Yes you heard it right I had such a bad um feeling about not paying for the ticket and about and that that woman just let me go you know just like that without even shaming me or judging me or demanding that I pay the ticket because that’s normally what would happen and that’s what I have already expect and because it did not happen I felt super super ashamed for not paying the ticket and that’s why I promised myself to pay the ticket that was really a bird it just flew away um so yeah I promised myself to pay the ticket because I was like no no no no I don’t want to not pay for myself I want to pay for myself because I want to earn uh my own money and so I want to respect the money that other people earn and they work just like I want to people to respect my work that I do here for example on YouTube and I thought no no no that’s a bad karma if I don’t pay and just get away with it so yeah maybe it’s this good bad conscious I think how it’s called bent Consciousness um or morals but anyway I was just like I woke up and I was like I’m going back to to repay to to pay for yesterday um but before but before that I decided first to um have a bath and and have a breakfast um um because I was hungry no because I was dirty and hungry I know it sounds a bit wrong but that’s the reality of um bike uh Tent Road Trips you get dirty you get hungry especially when you sleep not in the camping but just outside I’m on the stars and on on the field like I did uh I don’t always do that but um yes that’s true that’s reality [Music] anyway so I decided to quickly find the stream um that I was um R driving by yesterday um um and to bathe myself in it um yes so yeah it’s 20 minutes and it’s getting pretty dark I’m really surprised how bright it is on the video but in reality it’s really dark um it’s probably because the sunset is going this way um okay I will give a small spoiler for theep for the part three before I end this video th um [Music] when I finally found the stream or the brook the brook is the right word strok Brook um then I was very happy um or I was very glad k n uh is finally you can just say in Ukrainian one word NES and it basically means finally for example if you’re waiting for the waitress or the waiter to deliver you coffee for like one hour and then finally they do it you can in Ukraine you can say it’s not that polite but uh maybe it’s a bad example sorry um oh I know when you finally Master Ukrainian after um half a year of intense um uh learning and watching my videos constantly um you can be like I made this or yat for women I made this this yeah [Music] um so I enjoyed the water the water or she VOD uh she was very cold because water in Ukraine IS F logical right of course water would be feminine why would it be masculine [Music] um my mood got better I came out of the water I uh got myself dry with a top um and I dressed okay let me start all over again sorry I went back to my bicycle um and I was going to go to the bakery to have breakfast um it means uh to um go to to be going to do something for example I’m going to go home I’m going to go to bed and so on I’m really going to go home soon so it’s already 24 minutes well just one spoiler sentence I really need to give it to you before I leave um long sentence so um say Moment In This Moment in this moment I saw a naked person or a naked human which uh was swimming in the in the um I forgot it in the brook yes I did see it I I thought honestly it was a iation um but I would leave you here I would just say that it was about 10 or 15 MERS away from me and I um couldn’t believe my eyes um but I would tell you in the next uh video in the part three which will come in about 5 to 7 days what happened next um and it’s really much to it was really one of the best Adventures I had on a bike so far because of what happened next and because of the festival and yes thank you for watching means a watch like it’s a noun anyway thanks for your attention um write me comments I uh am glad about them byea until next time [Music] byebye [Music] h
