Hello,
I found this bicycle in my country's (Belgium) store for repossessed items.
I would like to ride and not scavenge it for pieces. The description says that the carbon frame is damaged. Looking at the pictures, it is macroscopically obvious there are defects.
I know carbon frame bikes can be defective without obvious flaws. I am wondering if the fact that the defects are obvious mean that the frame in unrideable.

First, that’s not a carbon frame bike. The fork is carbon, but the frame is aluminum. It’s got some obvious damage from someone attempting to steal it while locked up with a good lock.
It’s probably safe as is to ride, just not pretty.
If you want it to scavenge the components, go right ahead.
It’s possible you could buy a replacement frame from Cannondale, but it might be expensive.
