i’ll be leaving oxford for a bit so i had to crank out one last productive (ish) day and finally visit the places i’ve always wanted to see. sorry, this vlog’s a bit short – i had so much to do for my last day of in-person lab work while simultaneously packing up all my stuff. but i hope you enjoy this little glimpse into my daily life (weekend edition) 😀

[Music] good morning it is currently 11:07 as you can see it is once again a very sunny day I have a meeting with my supervisor tomorrow we’re catching up on my progress my data my experiments etc etc so have quite a few things to prepare for that I’m going to go catch the bus into the city I’m also going to try to get my steps in so maybe I’ll tour some of the colleges as well because it’s Sunday I felt like doing a little bit more so I added some glitter is this close enough can you see I want to say that I’m getting the hang of this vlogging thing but I am I am not I have to remind myself that life is too short everybody has their own problems that they’re worried about everybody has their own place that they’re trying to get to nobody’s focused on you just do what you want just do what you want let’s [Music] go it’s like Oxford new I was vlogging today and it just decided to be sunny and show off cuz it’s I keep saying this it is typically not like this oh my God pink house if anyone’s watched like House of Anubis do you remember that show that’s what all the houses here look like and oh wow this one’s pretty pretty look at all I can think of with houses that look like this are the spiders Lord I will say this until I get old and I will say this every day if you are an arachnophobe Oxford is not the city for you the problem is Oxford has spiders that are like this big i k you not trigger warning actually I’ll put pictures here trigger warning mhm that is so pretty nearby here is a really nice boat house that serves food and then you can go punting like on the river well today would be a lovely day to go punting but I have t work this is so funny every time a car walks past I like shut my camera off Alana come on for [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you very much have a nice day [Music] [Music] cat what hello actually have no idea where I’m going that looks kind of Dodge I’m not going that way I do not think I’m going the right way this is ginger in it it’s not my nose is runny but it’s good though this is like it’s called the mango mule it’s my favorite drink there so if you’re ever there do go pick them up not sponsored oh wait I think it’s there I think I just saw a glimpse of it hold on oh my God oh my oh my God I think it’s down this way oh I think they have like a choir a choir that’s Ring oh my God it is [Music] I think now I’ve finally been to all the places where they found Harry Potter I’ve been at Christ Church I’ve been to the bodan I’ve been to New college so I’ve Been Everywhere definitely living here and getting to experience these things in person does make me so so grateful for the opportunity that I’ve had in life [Music] [Music] you [Music] you [Music] know [Music] other this [Music] [Music] [Music]
