Hey all, hope this is an alright place to post / ask this! Yesterday I tried to install a Wald 1352 basket on my new Kona Dew. I've owned this exact basket before, on a road bike with a tapered fork, with no problems. The support legs attached to the front wheel axle as the instructions stated they should.
While trying to get the legs on the Dew, however, the flat attachment point proved too wide for the non-tapered fork of this bike. So I basically flipped the legs around so that I could screw them into the eyelet of the fork using the hex screws.
I'm just curious if anyone else has had this issue with Wald baskets, and if this slightly scrappy fix has worked for them.
