If you can’t fit the forks to the bike, you could always fit a bike to the fork if you get my drift, n+1 and all that

Easy, buy a frame that has a tapered headtube. This is how you get N+1 past the spouse. “Honey, I didn’t buy a new bike, the parts don’t fit!”

What frame is that? What headset size does it use? Of that’s currently a ZS44 you can change the lower to EC44/40 and the fork will fit. The external headset adds a bit of height so the effective A-C should be about the same as well.
