2017 Specialized Diverge Gravel

Hi! I’m a complete novice to cycling. I want something for road and light gravel. The owner is selling because he is moving. He would regularly get the bike serviced. Is this a good fit for my needs? Is this a fair price for San Francisco area? Thanks!
