Everyone who CHOOSES to not wear a helmet should have a 15 minute conversation with someone who has suffered a TBI. I think most would choose to wear one from then on. Death isn’t the worse fate, becoming stupid and unable to control your mind and body is. Most will never cycle again or regain a “normal” life, at least compared to what they had BEFORE the TBI.
I personally know 3 TBI victims, two from bicycle crashes. I know of what I speak.
Just get one that FITS right and it isn’t such an imposition.

Bicycling infrastructure has only improved and there are no fewer helmets being worn (none before and none now)… I have a sneaking suspicion that it is something else going on. Maybe the resent trend with higher bonnet and heavier cars, the American inspired brick car.
