Found an old bike my family hasn’t used in years, rode it around for a bit then heard a clicking sound and now the chain is completely off the gears near the pedals, and also somehow they both got shoved together in the same spot.. how do I get it out and/or back on the gear?

First of all, you have to realize that this is a cheap bike. This means that any repairs are not financially worthwhile.
Regarding your problem, try to get the chain out with a screwdriver. Then you should adjust the limiter screws on the front derailleur. Also the drivetrain won’t work smoothly because everything is rusted.
