Overtightened and broke ring spacer for installing new cables into shifters.

I Overtightened and broke the ring spacer used to secure the brake line into
The fluid port so now obviously fluid won’t hold.

I’m trying to improvise a fix so don’t have to spend $300 for a new shifter.

I tried epoxy to mount it back on, didn’t work. Tried the heaviest possible super glue Home Depot sold, didn’t work. Every time I begin to put pressure on it, it breaks the epoxy.

I need that piece to
Stay firm so I can tighten the bolt and run fluid through the line. Any ideas to get it to stay? Some stronger adhesive?
