Hello it’s me again working on my kids’ bike. I got that darn 30mm bolt off the top with patience and lots of WD-40. I got most of the gyro components off except for this last one in the bottom. Do I have to remove that headset (I goggled it and I need a special DIY tool to hammer it out?) to get that last component out? I guess I could just leave that one part remaining. Also, I’m now able to remove the whole stem out. I should take this opportunity to clean and regrease the bearings. Do I need to oil or grease anything else?

Yeah looks like you gotta get the bearing race off. You could try getting a small enough piece of wood and go in from the bottom and jam it against the lip of the raceway and hammer it out. Just go around in a circle around the lip and smack around to get it off. Hopefully no damage will occur and only damage will be on the piece of wood.
That’s how I’ve gone about taking bearing out of most BMX bikes for the last few decades
If it’s super stubborn try using PB blaster instead of wd40 and give it a few mins to fully penetrate, and I second using a piece of wood to wedge in between the race and frame.
