  1. It’s a little off putting, but idk where he’s meant to put it on that side. It looks like they didn’t allocate enough room between the road section and the bike rack.

Sorry, but that is how I use useless racks like that, though I will use the ends of the rack if they are available.

  3. I once saw a guy’s fancy e-bike parked like this.

There was adequate space to lock both the wheel and frame, so there was no need for him to hog the whole rack.

A couple others roll up and say “fuck it” and sandwich his bike between their bikes. He shows up later and complains that he can’t get his bike out.

Next day, he’s parked at the rack again, but normally this time.

The person who invented that rack and one who chose to have it installed should both be shot at dawn.

I agree that these racks suck. Often times no one uses them and if you’re the only one locking up there it doesn’t matter.

My 700cc wheels don’t fit in these so I always have to lock up on one of the ends. I hate these racks.

This is why you keep your old ulocks that you don’t want anymore … put them to a good educational use.

  8. I almost don’t blame him. Almost. I wouldn’t shove a wheel in one of those wheel bender racks either. Still there are two perfectly good sides to lock up to.
