Trying to make my bike look cooler.

First picture is how it was bought second is after changing some small things like brake line, pedals, adding a crate, grips but I feel like a lot can still be done what are your suggestions?

I do have old school shimano deore derailleurs I plan on putting on once I get some friction shifters. Also I’m trying to make the bike pretty bright with colors kinda like a lot of the retro mtb builds I’ve seen recently.
