I'm planning a cycling trip Groningen to Copenhagen that I'm gonna start next week.
I'll be biking for about 13/14 days and have planned two different routes which are both ~1100km and I'd like to get some advice on which one to choose?
The first one follows the EV12, mostly on the west coast of Dänemark. End destination is Aarhus, from where I'd take a train to Copenhagen. It looks quite wild and beautiful but I'm afraid of being bored after a while to follow the north sea coast over hundreds of kilometres.
The second route goes first along the EV12 and then the EV10. It looks more diverse than the first one: I'd have parts of the north sea coast and then cycle through the islands. On the other hand, it looks a bit less wild and nature. But this is just an assumption as I don't know anything about Dänemark really.
What do you guys think? Any experience with cycling the EV12 and/or EV10?
In a previous post, I saw recommendations about the app "Shelter" and I'm planning on mostly using it to find camping/sheltering spots. I'll have my own tent but looking to meet people on the way and find toilets, and the occasional shower.
