I just watched this video, and it reminded me how unusually driven Bentonville is to create free resources for mountain bikers, and I’m wondering if anyone knows why? Is the local government run by bikers? Is the town making a ton of tourist money off people traveling to Bentonville?
What changes do I need to enact in my town to motivate them to do the same?

The Walton family, of Walmart fame, has spent $85,000,000 since 2007 building and maintaining trails in Bentonville, where Walmart is HQd.
The destruction of small businesses, downtowns, and all things not Walmart; and the mass transfer of wealth to the Walton family, who fortunately have a couple of kids that are into mountain biking.
Isn’t it Walmart pouring money into it?
