I absolutely hate the design of the expander plug on my tarmac SL6. It’s a pain to remove compared to the one on my Cannondale. Are there any alternatives to this style of plug that will work?

(Specifically, I wanted a longer/knurled one. It’s worked out well. Note: Go off the pictures to figure out the sizing; the text is confusing/misleading.)
I’m a bit confused – why is ‘easiness of removal’ a relevant property of an expander plug? What are you doing that you periodically have to remove it?
